Must-Have Items for Men’s Autumn Wardrobe

Before we get to must-have items for men’s autumn wardrobes, some fun etymology: Did you know that the word ‘fall’ (as in autumn) originated in the UK? We were using both autumn and fall when our forefathers set off on their murderous colonisation of ‘The New World’. As you might have guessed, ‘fall’ comes from ‘the falling of the leaves’, which is quite poetic, really. Fall thrived in America whilst autumn died out, and the opposite happened here in the UK as we stuck with a more Latin way of describing the season after summer (similar to automne in French, autunno in Italian, otoño in Spanish etc.).
