Oi oi! Perci is going on tour. We’re chuffed to announce that very soon we’ll be opening pop-up shops in three locations around the country: Broadstairs, Glasgow and Manchester for a limited time only. We’ll have more details soon but while we’re still getting settled in, enjoy our guides to the best things to see, do and eat in and around our stylish new hoods.
Broadstairs
The Kent coastline is fast becoming the UK’s coolest stretch of seaside, a bit like the south of France but with more fish and chips. We’ve booked our beach hut and will be opening our pop-up on 25th November.
Find us at:
35 Albion street

The Table
Where else would you start? Book a seat at The Table and sample some innovative coastal-inspired recipes by chef Joe Hill. We’re talking scallop dumplings, foraged sea herbs, salmon tartare and more. We plan to eat well in Broadstairs.
Forts Coffee
Just a couple of streets away from the seafront is the best coffee spot in town. Forts baristas know their beans and their excellent customer service and the shop’s chilled atmosphere mean you could easily find yourself stopping for lunch. Which is also excellent.
Botany Bay
Sand, sea, fossils and Instagram-friendly cliffs and chalk stacks. There are many reasons why Botany Bay is one of the country’s most beloved beaches, and its views are unmissable if you’re visiting Broadstairs. If the weather’s with you, a dip in the clean, refreshing water is the perfect wake-up call.
Glasgow
In recent years, all roads have led to Glasgow and we’re pleased that ours do too. After hosting huge sporting and cultural events, plus a world-changing climate conference, now Glaswegians are getting ready for the big one: Percival’s imminent arrival. Details coming soon.
Find us at:
48 Buchanan Street
Level 1, Princes Square
Glasgow

The Stand Comedy Club
Another arts venue whose reputation precedes it, the Stand hosts up-and-coming Scottish comedians and the best UK acts. It’s where the likes of Frankie Boyle and Kevin bridges cut their teeth so it’s not unreasonable to expect a hernia from all the laughter.
Botanic Gardens
For a restorative glug of green space, the city’s Botanic Gardens are hard to beat. In and amongst the foliage is Kibble Palace, an incredible 19th century glasshouse, which is home to orchids, carnivorous plants and a celebrated sculpture collection.
Ubiquitous Chip
A low-key legend of Scottish cuisine, Ubiquitous Chip’s menu is packed with produce sourced in Scotland, from venison haggis to hand-dived scallops. The restaurant also has a pub, one of the best wine bars in the city and the dinky Wee Whisky bar which they reckon serves more whisky per square foot than anywhere else in Scotland.
Manchester
One of the UK’s most diverse and exciting cities, Manchester has a proud history in industry, sport, culture and science, all of which still thrum there today. It’s a perfect destination for Percival and we’ll be announcing details of our pop-up soon.
Find us at:
17 Newton St
Northern Quarter
Manchester

Erst
A wine bar and restaurant set in a pleasantly industrial interior, Erst has won over many a restaurant critic with its menu of seasonal small plates and a stonkingly good wine list. Happily, most bottles are also available to take home with you.
Deadstock General Store
Perfectly curated and moreishly browsable, the Deadstock General Store is full of things you didn’t know you needed. Most of it is achingly stylish stuff for the home: terrariums, ceramics and kitchenware, all with an expert eye for design.
Home
Manchester’s best arts venue – there, we said it. In a city bursting with culture, Home is a focal point for contemporary theatre, film, music and art. Its genuinely eye-opening programme mixes local and international talent, and there’s an excellent cafe and bookshop to kick back in too.
