What to Wear to Super Bowl LX
Men’s Style Guide
America is a weird place, isn’t it? You can buy a shotgun three years before you’re allowed to drink, the bread tastes like cake, and they play football with their hands. Speaking of which, the Super Bowl is very much a thing in the UK now. This one’s Seahawks vs New England Patriots, played out in Santa Clara, California. It’s on a Sunday, as always, kicking off at around 11:30pm UK time. Which means if you can swing a slow start or a day off on the Monday, you’re already ahead.
3 Game-Day Outfit Essentials
The Super Bowl is not an excuse to wear your gladrags—it is for getting disgusting with your pals, consuming copious amounts of the sort of foods you wouldn’t usually eat unless you were on your way home from town, seven pints deep, and pretending you know more about American football than you actually do. You’re going to want to be wearing something comfy since you’re about to take on about 5,000 calories of nachos and chicken wings, so let’s make sure we’re dressed appropriately, ey?
Comfortable Knitwear
Whilst the Super Bowl is a sporting event and you mightn’t usually associate sports with knitwear, it is still flipping February. So if you want to stick on some comfy knitwear whilst you watch Sam Darnold and Drake Maye trying not to get smashed to bits, you are absolutely allowed to do so. Maybe that’s a merino or casentino wool sweater, maybe it's the red Champion Cardigan, maybe it's a cable knit—whatever you’re feeling.
Oversized Tees
Oversized Tees are a staple for just about any relatively informal event, but especially for the Super Bowl. The perfect nacho-chomping, did-you-see-that?!-exclaiming, light beer-drinking attire. More importantly they’ll be forgiving when the bloating begins. Here’s one with beer embroidered on it, look.
Jackets for Cooler Evenings
Your best friend in this situation is a Fleece Jacket. Great as a midlayer with something a little more waterproof on top, or great as an outer layer. Alternatively you could go full Americana and chuck on a Puglia Varsity Bomber Jacket. Yes, it’s got Puglia in the name, and that’s in Southern Italy, but don’t be fooled—this one is USA all the way. Incidentally, this copywriter worked in Puglia for a little while back in the day—lovely part of the world.

Superbowl 2026 Colours
This one’s heavy on nostalgia. Seahawks blues that still whisper Legion of Boom. Deep navy Patriots tones that feel like Brady-era inevitability, even if he’s nowhere near the field. Think muted greens and blues that nod to Wilson scrambles and sideline gum-chewing intensity. Navy, red, and white that recall winter dynasties and last-minute drives you still argue about. Wear the colours like you remember the moments.
Layering for Outdoor Games
Hey, listen, we’ve just assumed you’re attending some sort of watch party. Maybe you’re actually going to the Super Bowl. If that’s the case, (firstly, good for you—we’re very jealous and can you maybe sort of a ticket?) you’re going to want to layer up—even if you’re wearing a replica jersey on top, sports events are always somehow 10 degrees colder than the real world. Not sure why—they just are. Ask a scientist.
Casual Accessories for the Big Game
Lots of hats in the NFL. Awwwwwful lot of hats in the NFL. Caps and beanies everywhere you look. Pretty sure that’s something to do with sponsoring and capitalism (OOOHH SAY CAN YOU SEEEEE BY THE DAWN’S EARLY LIIIIIIGHT) but you don’t want to be the only fella with a naked noggin, do you?
Caps & Beanies
Here, you know what? Take your pick. We’re not going to lecture you about Caps and Beanies—just pick your favorite and enjoy the game.
