These fairytales, are more nightmares by modern standards. A character in traditional pantomime, the harlequin was typically masked and dressed in a diamond-patterned costume and came armed with some solid one liners, they were observational comics. They also created a pattern that we have jacquarded into a 100% cotton knit. A great autumnal knit for layering under heavy winter coats - no jokes.
