"These sizes are all over the shop. The jacket was a 40 - I have a Paul Smith Soho in 38, and it's quite pinched, eg. I can't do up my shoelaces while wearing the jacket - so this seemed like it'd be good at 40. But I've had to have it all taken in and up. The tailors have apparently run out of things to cut and so have had to push the button out on the jacket and re-sew it to take up the excess bulk. The trousers said they were an 'S' in length, which I'd take to be a 30. Normally that's perfect for me; these needed taking up, a fair bit. There are some loose threads on the stitching of the jacket. It certainly looks much more rough 'n' ready IRL than the pics in the catalogue. But perhaps that is just linen for you."
