THE ROLE
An ambitious team player supporting SM with admin and analysis, striving to achieve Merchandising KPIs, deadline and strategy. Must be able to display examples of meeting Merchandising goals through data analysis and how this was achieved. Awareness of fashion retail market and competitor activity essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Trade
-
Ownership of Monday trade reports ahead of weekly meetings

Analysis of daily and weekly trade performance, highlighting risk and opportunity to SM
-
Line card management covering regular re-forecasting, stock analysis and product lifecycle
-
Propose continuity and seasonal trade repeats to SM, in line with OTB targets
-
Support SM to achieve key KPIs; margin, stock, cover, OTB
-
Report to internal departments a view of inbound stock and new season product buys
-
Regular competitor analysis covering promotions, product and pricing architecture

Management of greige fabric & blank stock levels to support replenishment forecasts
Admin
-
Full ownership of product setup & creation, sizing (balance backs and new season) and PO creation

Make critical freight decisions, splitting out PO shipments to accommodate intake/demand forecasts

Support SM with smooth onboarding of PLM tool: data migration, data population, ad hoc administration

Creating accurate ASNs in a timely manner
Operations
-
Work with Retail Teams; confidently own stock portfolios and allocation plans across 3x retail locations

Collaborating with Visual Merchandiser to ensure product strategy translates into stores

Liaise with Operations team to resolve 3PL queries and ensure smooth inbound of goods

Ad hoc Wholesale logistics support, ensuring timely and smooth deliveries to 20+ partners per season
Critical path planning and management

Collaborates with Product Teams to manage the production planning of key and core lines

Work with Product Developers to ensure key planning dates are met and delivery targets achieved

Support product developers to ensure accurate data is maintained and stock is delivered on time
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, confident in building and owning various merchandising reports

Strong numerical and analytical skills, highly organised

An interest in utilising AI tools to drive Merchandising strategy forward

Good communicator, keen to build relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders

Able to make proactive, data-driven decisions within a fast-paced environment

Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant within fashion retail

Experience using Shopify and/or a PLM system desirable
