Description

The Sherlock, but with a bit more detective work in the pattern. Watcher Check brings classic trench coat energy with fully modern weatherproofing - smart enough for city plans, technical enough for the sort of rain Britain keeps as a personality trait.

Cut in our bestselling short Sherlock shape, this one is built from a cotton-poly bonded fabric with a low-swell PU backing, sealed seams and proper breathability. In other words: looks classic, acts technical. Very Percival.

Men's Watcher Check Waterproof Short Trench Coat

  • Features: Men's waterproof short trench coat with a clean button front,slanted welt pockets and a sharp checked finish. Cut from a 10,000mm waterproof technical fabric with 2000g/sqm breathability. Constructed with taped seams, contrast bonded PU lining. Lightweight technical outerwear with classic trench energy - looks smart, keeps the drizzle in its lane.
  • Material: 65% Polyester PU, 35% Cotton (Cotton-bonded fabric)
  • Colour: Watcher Check
  • Fit: Relaxed fit through the chest and torso for easy layering. If you prefer a closer fit, consider sizing down. Sleeves cut slightly shorter for a contemporary look.
  • Care: Dry clean only.

The Technical Details

Waterproof rating: 10,000mm. Translation? Very waterproof. A fabric is tested by how much water pressure it can withstand before leaking, British standards require just 1,500mm. Our trench hits 10,000mm, double what’s recommended for a snowboard jacket.

Add fully taped seams and a breathability rating of 2,000g/m² (that’s water vapour escaping out, not in), and you’ve got a coat built to keep you cool, dry and smug through the wettest months. Ready for rain, drizzle, and the occasional biblical downpour.
